Cytek Aurora

Overview

The Cytek Aurora is a new and cutting edge technology that can analyze similar and very similar spectral emitting fluorochromes. Instead of analyzing small chunks of fluorescence and calculating fluorescence spill over, the Cytek Aurora looks at the full spectrum emitence of each fluorochrome. This allows colors that would normally be unusable with each other to be run in tandem.

The 4 laser (16UV-16V-14B-8R) Cytek Aurora can analyze up to 54 fluorochromes, 57 parameters (FSC, 488 SSC, 405 SSC-B). The Cytek Aurora recently received a UV 355nm (20mW) laser upgrade.

The Cytek Aurora leverages full spectrum technology to provide unprecedented flexibility to scientists, enabling the use of a wide array of new fluorochrome combinations without reconfiguring the system for each application. The Aurora system delivers high-resolution data at the single-cell level to resolve the most challenging cell populations, such as cells with high autofluorescence or low levels of expression of key biomarkers, regardless of assay complexity.

The Cytek Aurora is equipped with a Cytek Automated Sample Loader (ASL), which allows for multiple sample input formats, from plates to tubes. A volumetric sensor enables calculation of counts per μL.
